Helen Brown Jungemann

- Savannah - Helen Brown Jungemann, 87, died November 21, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born in Albany, GA, daughter of the late, Henry Albert Brown and Willie Bell Bothwell Brown. Mrs. Jungemann was an accredited master flower show judge of National Garden Clubs. She was a member of the Hibiscus Garden Club, the Garden Club of Georgia, Deep South District, past president of Garden Club Council of Chatham County and former member of Savannah Rose Society. She was an active participant at the Windsor Forest Golden Age Center. She was a longtime member of White Bluff Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder, sang in the Chancel Choir and was a member of Joy Sunday School Class. Mrs. Jungemann was also a member of the Intercessors for Israel prayer group. Her daughter, Susan Claire Jungemann preceded her in death.

Surviving are her husband of 68 years, Edward F. Jungemann; daughters, Mary J. Pilgrim; Ann J. Robertson and her husband, Randy; grandson, Randall E. Robertson all of Savannah and a number of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Mrs. Jungemann will lie in state at White Bluff Presbyterian Church from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Funeral: 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at White Bluff Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Eric Beene officiating. A reception will follow in the church social hall.

Burial: Private.
